Montgomery, AL โ The forecast leading up the first WDRA Bracket Series Points Race sponsored by 2.0 race cars at Montgomery International Dragway varied from a maximum chance of rain to a reduced forecast just a day prior to the event.
Brad Wheeler and staff made the last minute decision to not only move forward with the event but to race both points races on Saturday due to the high chance of rain on Sunday.
Saturday was a long day for both racers and the Montgomery staff but the crew managed to complete the entire weekend of events in one day and crowned champions for all classes.
The sportsman and motorcycle class also debuted this past weekend. We hope these two classes will continue to grow!
