Great American Bracket Races is pleased to announce that the SDPC Raceshop Dream Team Challenge and Moser Engineering Top Bulb 25Ks\/Bottom Bulb 10Ks will transition to Montgomery International Dragway in Montgomery, AL May 14-18, 2025.<\/p>\n

<\/figure>\n

The 8th Annual Event is a Staple Event for the Great American Bracket Races brand that brings the sport of bracket racing and Team Sports element to one race as the Dream Team Challenge.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrad Wheeler and his staff have done a wonderful job with taking Montgomery International Dragway to another level\u201d, Britt Cummings of Race Promotions Group stated. \u201cInstalling a brand new Accutime Timing System and a major renovation to the track surface are a few of major improvements to the facility\u201d, Cummings concluded.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The SDPC Raceshop Dream Team Challenge made its debut in 2018 at Memphis International Dragway in Memphis, TN. In 2021 the Dream Team Challenge traveled South the Holly Springs Motorsports in Holly Spring, MS where the past 4 events have been contested. \u201cHolly Springs is a wonderful facility. We are deeply appreciative of BeeBop and Aileen Davis for hosting the Dream Team Challenge these past 4 years. Past and present Track Managers Terry \u201cJabbo\u201d Forsythe and Jody Brooks were always a pleasure to work with\u201d, Gaylon Rolison of Race Promotions Group stated.<\/p>\n

<\/figure>\n

Tommy Castanedo of Race Promotions Group explained, \u201cThe Dream Team Challenge is the most exciting race in bracket racing hands down. It\u2019s the only race where a racer can lose a round but still advance to the next round in a no buyback format if his\/her Team wins the best 3 of 5 matchup. Watching racers bail out of their race cars on the return road so they can cheer on their teammates is something special.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the Dream Team Challenge Current Format, which is a 100% Payback of Entry Fees, each team (32 in Top Bulb\/16 or more Bottom Bulb) is composed of 5 different racers from across the United Sates. A team will compete against another Team in which the team that reaches 3 wins will advance to the next round until a Team Champion is crowned.<\/p>\n

<\/figure>\n

Preregistration for the Dream Team will be held in Jan\/Feb 2025.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Dream Team Challenge Event is surrounded by the Moser Top Bulb Triple 25Ks\/Bottom Bulb Triple 10Ks and are Pay at the Gate. All racers, including those not on a Dream Team Roster, are eligible to compete in the 25Ks\/10Ks.
